Jasper Eales, Collapsable Plank Shelf
South African designer Jasper Eales has created the perfect balance between modernism and function. Made out of pine and coated steel, this minimalist shelf can easily hold stacks of your favorite tomes or lush indoor plants. Even more, the shelf is collapsable, making it easy move around — for wherever the world might take you.
New Kicks
These Adidas Superstar vintage kicks are a classic throwback. Back to the days of B-boys, track suits, and too much hair spray. I'll do it all again in a heartbeat — minus the latter.
Take Me to Marfa
Everything's bigger in Texas, except Marfa. But what the tiny West Texas town with a population of under 2,000 lacks in size, it makes up for it tenfold with its dramatic desertscapes, world-famous art scene, and gourmet food. We're planning a trip to Marfa (and Austin), in the next few months to experience it ourselves — complete with the requisite stay in a souped-up trailer or tricked-out tepee, of course.

Sunday Bake
When it's cold and rainy outside, what else is there to do besides bake a chicken? We concocted a rosemary and lemon chicken today and it turned out pretty good. Finish the meal with brown rice and kale salad for a satisfying Sunday dinner.
Recipe: Rosemary Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
Whole chicken
Fresh rosemary sprigs
Lemon Slices
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Thoroughly clean chicken inside and out, pat dry. Fill the chicken cavity with rosemary bundle and 5 lemon slices. Brush 1 to 2 tablespoons of room-temperature butter on outside of chicken, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and rosemary leaves. Bake for 40 - 55 minutes, depending on size of bird. Pair with brown rice and kale salad for a satisfying meal.
Brother Vellies, Beautiful Handcrafted Footwear
Brother Vellies offers up traditional African footwear — with a twist. Every pair is one-of-a-kind and handmade by local artisans in Africa. My favorite is the denimbok sandal, crafted in South Africa of sustainable materials. Made carefully and made to last a lifetime.
Life Goals
2015 life goal = working my body into this little black bikini by summer. Kauai, here we come!
The Find: '70s Fringe
So excited about this DKNY woven leather fringe crossbody I found on eBay. I love the mini size silhouette and rich chocolate brown hue — perfect for wearing with all kinds of spring denim.
Shop It Now: Raf Simons X Adidas
Raf Simons just breathed new life into fashion's favorite sneaker. In his latest collection for Adidas, the designer reimagined the ubiquitous white Stan Smith trainer in a new wheelhouse of splashy colors and finishes. The lineup is now available and no doubt, will be sold out before you know it. Which pair are you eyeing?
Garza Marfa
Garza Marfa is the epitome of simplicity and understated cool. The brand's signature saddle leather collection, seen in stylish hotels and abodes worldwide, were inspired by the designers (Jamey Garza and Constance Holt-Garza), love for their surroundings in Marfa, Texas. The saddle leather round chair, seen here, is on my someday-I-will-really-treat-myself list. You can customize the color of steel base, with options ranging from creamy turquoise to poppy red.

Lace Life
Since heels are out of the picture for the moment, I will have to suffice my need for statement shoes in a new way. These Aglit Italy gold leather shoe laces will definitely give my tried and true Nike sneakers a much needed boost. If gold is not your thing, there are a lot more colors to choose from . . .
Still Cold — and Without a Coat
I'm really late to the coat party, but I think I found the perfect piece to keep me warm for the rest of winter. The pinkish-beige hue on this Acne Studios wool parka will make all of my black, blue, and gray basics look new again. Right?
Flowerland
Imagine a beautiful garden setting, delicious coffee and an amazing playlist — sounds good right? That's what Flowerland in Albany has achieved. We stopped by the nursery over the weekend looking for a few plants and what was meant to be a quick 15-minute errand turned into about an hour-long experience as we sipped and chatted our way through the garden. One glance and you'll fall in love with the adorable coffee truck (actually a 1969 Princess Streamline trailer), strong brew and did I mention they also serve yummy biscuit sandwiches? We also picked up a really interesting wall plant called a staghorn fern for a cool DIY project but more on that later . . .

The Find
The RealReal is the real deal. The online luxury consignment store is stocked with incredible designer pieces. I recently snagged these navy Carven mules — amazing right? I'm in love with spectator details and chunky heels. Wear now with trousers and a chunky sweater, wear later with swingy '70s denim dress.
